I have served as adjunct faculty at Minneapolis College and as a teaching artist at Walker West Music Academy. In addition to teaching private bass students, I regularly coach jazz combos of all ages and ability levels, including the award-winning Tuesday Night Walker West Combo. I’ve encouraged students to explore college music opportunities and guided them through the application process.

Whether on upright or electric bass (either 4 or 5-string) I am able to share my insights across a wide range of genres including: jazz, classical, musical theater, and contemporary pop, rock, and R&B. Today’s music students benefit from versatility and breadth of knowledge, and my experience allows me to impart that ethos effectively.
